halloween

Kaden had so much fun this year going trick or treating. We went with my family around by parent block. At every door my niece would ring the door bell and Kaden would say Tickerplease it was the cutest thing I have ever seen I can't wait for next year,

fun day at the zoo with grandma

Every Friday Grandma Bawden watches Kaden while I work. 2 or 3 weeks ago they decided to go to the zoo with some friends from church. Here are some pictures of Kaden and Sammy sorry the pictures are out of order.

our new adventure

As some people know we have decided that we were going to move so I can stay home once Allyson is born. We have been looking that past couple of months to find a cheap place that we can fix up and make our own. We found a 2400 square foot home with great potential out in San Tan Valley on 2 achers of land. I got the house last Friday and have spent every spare moment we have working on it trying to get it ready for us to live in. It has been so much fun and stress for us. We are so blessed to have both our parents live some what close to help us. We still have a ton of stuff to do and we want to be in the house and settled before i have the baby, which doesn't give us a ton of time considering i only have 7 weeks left.
Since we are going to be living on such a large peace of land in the middle of nowhere we decided we should get a dog for protection and so Kaden can have a pet. On Tuesday night Abe and I went and looked at a pure bread Golden lab that is one years old and we both fell in love with him. So we had to get him, Abe was so excited that he got his dog. Our whole marriage I was the one that was begging Abe to get an animal for Kaden and Abe is the one that got his dog. Abe has been acting like a little boy in a candy store. He has been spending so much time watching videos so he can train him. I don't think I have ever seen abe react this way the whole time I have known him. I love to see Abe like this it make me so happy to know that he is on cloud nine.

Whats new!

It has been a long time since I have updated everyone. This summer has been very long but at the same time it has gone by fast. Kaden is now completely potty trained except for nights. I love this so much I don't have to change any diapers(but Abe does). kaden has become a fan of singing randomly which is the funniest thing, and is able to say thank you and please without telling him to. Kaden will complement me on things that Abe will not notice. He is so fun, can't wait to spend the whole day with him.
We found out we will have a little girl on December 21 at 7:30AM. We are going to name her Allison Elisabeth Bawden. I can't wait to be able to meet my sweet little girl. She has not been as active as Kaden was so I am thinking she will be a little more mellow than him.
I am truly looking forward to the day that I am able to quit my job. We are looking at December 5th if all our plans go according to plan, but how often does that really happen.
Abe is in heaven right now because of BYU football season. when they win life is good in our house. He has been so good to me. Abe will come home from a long day at work and make dinner for us on the days that I am not feel well. I don't know why he is so good to me. I really don't think that I could stay married to anyone other than Abe. He puts up with so much with me and doesn't complain about it. I am the luckiest person in the world. Abe is also the best father in the world he will spend so much time playing and reading to Kaden. I love to be able to stand back and just watch them. I have the perfect life right now and it will always be as long as I have my family by my side.

The Scare of a Life Time

I have never been so scared in my life, yesterday started of a good day I was feel better than I normally do and Abe was going to go to the lake with Kaden and his brothers. They all had so much fun it was like every trip they take. About 12:00PM I noticed Kaden was feeling a little warm but didn't think much of it. We spent the day battling a temp. The highest it got during the day was 103.5 It scared me but he does run hot. Gave him some medication and got it down to 100.2 and stayed there for the rest of the evening. About 9 we decided it was time for kaden and I to go to sleep but before we did we gave kaden a ice bath just to make sure the temp. would stay down. at 11:35 Abe woke me up screaming, Hes not breathing. I woke up and sure enough he was not breathing and so limp, he felt like a rag doll. I called 911 but they were having a hard time pulling up our address for some reason. in the mean time Kaden started to convulse and turn blue. They told us to go down stairs and lay him on a hard surface and let him be. So we did as followed. He was still not breathing. Then abe just gave him a quick and simple blessing and at moment he started to breath again. The fire department show up and take his temp. and it was 105.1 I could believe it was that high. Kaden started to come to but was so dazed, he wasn't our outgoing boy that can't hold still for more than ten secionce. We went to the hospital they started the IV and took blood work and did chest x-rays. About 3:00 in the morning the doctor came in and said his temp. was down and all his blood work looked good and his x-rays were clean. They say the seizure is because his temp. went up so fast his little body didn't know how to handle it. I am so glad that we put him in our bed last night and Abe stayed up late watching tv. If Abe was a sleep I don't think we would have been able to react so fast. I don't handle waking up in the middle of the night very well with this pregnancy so it has extremely hard on my body i was sick at the hospital and early this morning. I finely broke down and took a zofran so I can make it through the day.
Kaden is doing good today. He woke up at 9:00 tilling me something was stuck, he wanted the hospital band cut off. He is acting like himself running around and talking up a storm. I never want to go through something like this again. I felt so helpless, and thinking he was going to die.
